Wow great site you have here lots of great information . Just bought a new leftover 2012 Thunderbird haven't had it long but what a great riding bike, my last triumph was in the early 70's springer front end no suspension and not much for brakes(gotta say the tbird is a better ride). Been mostly a Moto Guzzi guy (still have one) bought the Triumph after a test ride planning on having this bike for a long time. Been reading so much on this site the S.O. Is feeling a little jilted :). From what I read seems like the tbirds are pretty much trouble free. I'm sure I'll be doing some tweeking can't leave anything alone. Just wanted to say Hi and hope to enjoy the bike and this forum for a long time. Charlie

The Guzzi is a 1977 Convert (automatic) restored which I am selling (downsizing)

I'm in Upstate NY (Albany area). A handful of us are heading to Williamsport on Fri/Sat of THIS WEEKEND!!! A few are from MA, too. Take a look at the "Another Northeast Flocking" thread (the last page or two). If you're available, you'll certainly be able to put some mileage on this weekend!!!!

Keep an eye out for your local Birders - Rachael7, Flash, jdaddios, Davetac, and a handful of others all hail from the MA/CT area. If you go to the forum "search" tab up top. Just search MA or Mass or CT in the state box and you'll see a good, long list of locals for you to tool around with!!

And put Bennington Triumph Bash on your calendar for the weekend after Memorial Day. It's a MUST DO event!

Enjoy!

Not only the best color, but the best year...2012 blue-and-white TBirds are the perfect confluence of age and color.

Plus they're the fastest.

And they make sunny days happen.
